On Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 9), King County Elections released the second round of results for Tuesday’s General Election.
With 31,783 ballots now counted, it looks like the Highline School Bond will pass, as it has increased its approval to 65.12%, up from 64.97%.
Final results of the election will be certified on November 29, 2016.
Highline School District Prop. 1, Bonds to Construct New Schools and Replace and Renovate Deteriorating Schools:
Ballots counted: 31,783
Registered voters: 69,380
Requirements for measure to pass: 60% yes vote and a minimum turnout of 4,982 voters

- Rejected: 10,552 • 34.88
South King Fire and Rescue Prop. 1, Levy of General Tax $2,750,000 for Maintenance and Operations:
Ballots counted: 35,720
Registered voters: 80,048
- Yes: 22,595 • 66.89%
- No: 11,185 • 33.11%
Sound Transit Prop. 1, Light-Rail, Commuter-Rail, and Bus Service Expansion:
Ballots counted: 557,719
Registered voters: 1,125,143
Requirements for measure to pass: simple majority
- Approved: 309,468 • 58.49%
- Rejected: 219,643 • 41.51%
