REMINDER: A community meeting to discuss recent tensions at Highline High School, open to families and the public, is scheduled for TONIGHT – Thursday, June 15 – from 6 – 7 p.m. at the school cafeteria (meeting place was changed from the library 1:26 p.m.).
As we previously reported, the controversy started when some students painted a pro-Trump message over a gay pride one on Wednesday, June 7, then shared a photo of it that included the caption “Fixed it”:
“To avoid impacting graduation ceremonies taking place at the Performing Arts Center, the location of tonight’s Highline High School community meeting has been changed to the cafeteria. Please enter the campus from 156th and park in stadium parking.”
