Officers from the Seattle Police Department were training Thursday afternoon (April 19) at Sunnydale Elementary School, located at 15631 Des Moines Memorial Drive in Burien.
A unit supervisor I spoke to stated that today’s event is part of their regular crowd control training.
Sunnydale was built in 1904, closed in 2006, and is often used for police training. In 2016 it served as the location for a comedy TV show parody called M.O.P.Z., which aired on Adult Swim.
