Burien based non-profit Engender International is continuing its series of events that highlight the work of women makers with a flower arranging class on Saturday, May 12 – just in time for Mother’s Day.
Our Maker Series offers space and opportunity for women makers and entrepreneurs to connect with the community.
On Saturday, May 12 from 3 – 4:30 p.m. join Katie Clary of Clary Sage Studio for a floral design class. Learn the fundamentals of arranging flowers and foraging from your own landscaping. This is a great class for daughters and sons who want to treat their mom, friends who want to try something new, or yourself just because it is spring. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Flowers, vases, and tools provided.
Katie Clary is the owner of Clary Sage Studio, a seasonal floral business located in Issaquah. Her floral designs are often whimsical and evoke the changing ebb and flow of nature in the Pacific Northwest. You can see more of her work on Instagram at @clarysagestudio.
