Highline Public Schools seeking input on new materials for social studies & math

Highline Public Schools is adopting new materials for social studies and math, and they’re seeking your input:

Your voice is important as we select new instructional materials for kindergarten-8th grade math and 6th-11th grade social studies.

You are invited to an open house to learn more about the instructional materials under consideration:

  • Tuesday, March 26
    4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
    Central Office: South Classroom and Computer Lab
    15675 Ambaum Blvd. SW
    Burien,WA 98166
  • Wednesday, April 3
    4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
    Chinook Library
    18650 42nd Avenue South
    SeaTac, WA 98188

Adoption committee members will share instructional materials being considered. You can ask questions and provide feedback. Your feedback will inform the committee’s recommendation to the school board in May. Materials will be introduced in the 2019-20 school year.

Spanish interpretation will be available. Please contact 206-631-3182, 72 hours in advance if additional languages are needed.
