The Highline Historical Society is presenting a new exhibit at the Burien Community Center – PHOTOGRAPHY, THE ART OF DRAWING AND PAINTING USING ONLY LIGHT – will be on display in the lobby until the end of June.
Photography is a topic that has long been of interest to millions of people around the world. With its many variations, tools, and new technologies, photography has global appeal. This exhibit explores the cameras and work of local practitioners of the craft, including Dick Dahlgard, longtime owner of Dick’s Cameras in Burien.
The Burien Community Center is located at 14700 6th Ave SW, and hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. – Noon.
