BTB Reader Elston Hill took these great pics of a Redtail Hawk in Burien on Sunday, Nov. 16; here’s what he said about it:
“The predator birds love windy days.
This hawk visited the bluff above Three Tree Point twice today.
The first time the crows chased him away.
But he returned a second time and just hung in place like a kite for more than five minutes some 500 feet above the water hardly moving his wings.”
