Burien’s Environmental Science Center – located at Seahurst Park – will be holding several events to kick off the new year in January:
- Saturday, Jan. 3: FINAL After-Hours Beach Walk, from 8 – 10 p.m. Welcome by exploring the new Seahurst Beach at night with Naturalists!
- Sunday, Jan. 4: “Science with Dr. Tom” from 10:30 a.m. – Noon. Embrace your inner mad scientist! Conduct your own science experiments in a chemistry lab setting and explore interactions that take place all around you in nature. Must register by Jan. 2!
- Wednesday, Jan. 14 & Wednesday, Jan. 28: Toddler Story Time & Dance, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Rad books, dance a lil’ jiggle, make crafts & eat yummy treats!
- Saturday, Jan. 24: Movie Matinee, 1 – 2:30 p.m. Watch a classic favorite for FREE – “The Little Mermaid”!
The Environmental Science Center is located at the north end of the beach at Seahurst Park, 2220 SW Seahurst Park Road, Burien.
