The Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Gang

People you want to know in the Seattle Theatre Community!

Artistic Director Kathleen Edwards has invited some of the most talented artists in the Seattle area to take a spin with us on MainStage for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, affectionately known as C2B2. This is part of what makes MainStage a professional experience:

Daniel Cruz (Choreographer): Co-dance captain on the 1st National Tour of the Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights which he performed with the cast on So You Think You Can Dance. Daniel is taking inspiration from dance styles like “popping” and “tutting” to meld human and machine for our choreography.

Nathan Levi Young (Music Director): Musical Theatre faculty member at Cornish College of the Arts, and Music Director, Village Theatre, Arts West, Balagan. Nathan approaches vocal ensemble with every level of detail from the beginning. There is nothing more thrilling than 8 staves of vocal harmony!

Tyler Todd Kimmel (Music Director): Recent Adjunct Professor of Music at Pepperdine University, Tyler was just cast as Lamar/Pianist in Godspell at Taproot Theatre. He has been entertaining Hi-Liner audiences for over ten years, performing on the stage at the PAC as a teenager, and now, conducting our incredible pit of professional musicians for C2B2.

Candace Frank (Costume Designer): Recent staff Costume Supervisor ACT Theatre, Candace was named by Seattle Met Magazine as an artist to watch in 2013. Candace takes shows like Cats and Shrek and inserts costume edge, giving our productions a contemporary look and and undeniable flair.
