CITY OF SEATTLE DUWAMISH AREA ANNEXATION (FILE NO. 2358)
The Washington State Boundary Review Board for King County will conduct a public haring for a City of Seattle proposal to annex the Duwamish are (2045 acres). The hearing will take place on July 20, 2015. If required, July 21, 2015 has been set aside to continue the hearing.
A brief legal description and map for the Duwamish Area is provided below:
“All of portions of Sections 4 and 5 in Township 23 N, Range 5 E, and all or portions of Sections 33 and 32, Township 24 N, Range 4E, Willamette Meridian in King County, being west of the current City limits of Tukwila being west of the Duwamish Waterway, also bing south of Block 8 of East South park addition and current City limits of Seattle. Also being east of Dallas Ave. S. and vacated portion of Dallas Ave. S. and south of S. Director St. Also southeasterly of West Marginaly Way S. known as SR 99, and northerly of the north line of Tract 55 of Moore’s Five Acre Tracts Volume 9 Page 28.”

The purpose of the public hearing is to hear testimony and deliberate o the proposal. Testimony and factual material concerning the proposal may be presented to the Board up to and including the public hearing. At the following time and place, interested persons may appear and be heard with reference to said proposed City of Seattle Duwamish Area Notice of Intention.
