REMINDER: ‘Engaging Trees’ series continues this Sunday at Burien Library

REMINDER: SoCoCulture’s FREE ‘Engaging Trees’ series will continue this Sunday, Nov. 18, with Seattle Times environmental reporter and author of “Witness Tree,” Lynda Mapes, who will give a talk on her year researching an oak tree, what she learned, and how it affected how she looks at the landscape today.

This free event will run from 2 – 3:30 p.m. at the Burien Library.

This series has been curated by SoCoCulture and is made possible by the Port of Seattle Airport Communities Ecology Fund. Fiscal sponsorship is by Highline Heritage Museum, with additional support provided by 4Culture, the Des Moines Historical Society, and KCLS.
