Photos and Story by Isabel Herbruger, age 10
The Highline Pirates took on Foster at Renton Memorial Field on April 30, 2015.
The final score has not been reported yet on http://www.
There were 33 personal records set by Pirates last Thursday, seven of which were in shot put. Senior Justin has set a new PR in the 300 meter hurdles every week for the past three weeks (hurdle-32 picture).
The most exciting race of the day was the 4×400 relay. (relay-2 picture) Even though Hazen was at the meet, they were not competing against the Pirates for points. During the 4×400, Highline was neck in neck with Hazen until the last lap when they fell just a little behind. Everyone in the stands cheered the entire race.
